It is only when I am with horses that I feel grounded, connected to life. Horses are not simply something I see in the landscape, they are the landscape that defines the way I experience everything else. They are the filter through which I experience the world. I am endlessly drawn to their form; the curves and undulating lines of their bodies, the textures and patterns of their coats, the myriad colors and patterns of their hair, and the way they both harmonize with and stand distinctly from the landscapes around them. It is through this lens that I view the world.
